Day 2

I spent a good chunk of time logging geocaches today.  Here's what I had to say.

Out caching briefly with JECT or at least the JCT part of it.  We had to shop and we had to cache, and we did both.  Boy was it cold!

Out caching briefly with JECT.  C was excited to help me find this one.  He'd found it before.  We grabbed some TBs to take back to Michigan and managed to not fall too much in the snow.

I think I've been here before, but i must not have logged my DNF.  I only get to cache in Laramie once every couple of years, so not sure.  I found this one quickly (and later rubbed it in ject's face, just a little...)  Didn't sign log.  I realized by the time that I got it open, I'd never get it closed back up with frozen fingers.

I once decorated these rocks and the surrounding rocks for a public art project while a student here.  Those were the days!  I wrapped them in spring colored cloth for a few days.  I'll have to see if I can come up with the pics.  Found the cache quickly and moved on.  Thanks for the memories!

Last cache on campus for me today.  As I finished up, I realized I didn't have any stickers from my alma mater for my car.  Fortunately this one was so close to the bookstore!  Thanks for the cache!

On my way home on Christmas Eve.  We stopped here to cache, and cache we did.  This one was cleverly placed.  Thanks for the challenge.  My sister declared it her favorite of the trip.  And that was even after we tromped through several drifts that were deeper than they looked.

Found it.  And accidentally broke it.   The cold was too much for this one.  It came apart as I (gently) removed it.  Thanks for the cache.  I replaced it approximately 1 ft below where I found it.

We were on our way home for Christmas, and we thought we were being followed by a state trooper, so we pulled off to geocache long enough for him to go his merry way.  Turns out, it wasn't a trooper after all, but we did get a cache out of it!

Caching my way home for Christmas.  I had to stop and look here.  I was having other problems with Thermop caches, and couldn't leave without a smiley.  Loved the way you are preventing cache creep!  Thanks for the cache!

I was surprised by the location of the cache.  Thanks for hiding it!  I was caching my way home for Christmas and this was our final stop in Hot Springs County.  Well worth the visit.  No Muggle problems today.

We were almost home and then disaster struck!  A series of DNFs in Worland.  I couldn't have a gap in my map! Fortunately, the fates smiled on me and I found this cache, which was the last cache in my PQ.  My route ended here.  And here I found it!  I'm glad I know where in the World Worland Wyoming is... Thanks for the cache!

I was starting to get a little stir crazy, so I thought that I should see if perchance someone had listed some new caches near my parent's place since the last time I cleared the area.  What luck! Not one, but two new caches within a few miles.  (Ok, new in the sense that they'd been placed since July...)  I eventually got off my duff and took my sisters and some of their friends out to find these caches.  Not really new cacher types of caches, but at least it was something to get me out of the house.  Thanks!

Day 16

Day 30

I'm going to try a writing practice, as suggested by the article that I suggested yesterday. These are the rules: 1. Keep your hand moving. (Don’t pause to reread the line you have just written) 2. Don’t delete. 3. Don’t worry about spelling, punctuation, grammar. 4. Lose control. 5. Be specific. 6. Don’t think. Don’t get logical. 7. Go for the jugular. Here goes: My major stumbling block with this blog is that I have to think about what I want to write about. Since I spend so much time thinkinga bout other things, I really have a hard time choosing what to writeabout. I don't want to bore people. I'm afraid of dialoge. It makes me crazy. Everyone ends up sounding like Isound when I write. when I talk. And that's kind of crazy like. I mix words on purpose, I make my own ryhming slang, that I figure everyone else understands.
