Day 60
Today is the first of March, which means winter is officially over in my head. Anything that happens from here on out is a spring phenomenom, which makes it ok, because spring is supposed to be about changes. So if we get a snowstorm, it is a spring snowstorm. We'll get cold days (like today) but they'll be paired with an ever increases parade of pleasant days, days with sunshine, and grass that begins to green, and trees that begin to bud. That's the joy of March. You are right on the threshold of the New, and you begin to see what the wait was all about.
Also, since it is the first of the month, I'm going to evaluate just how I did with my writing goal during February. It's hard to believe, but I'm two months into this goal. I'm definately growing because of it. I am destroying barriers, and actually having fun.
Among the highlights this month. I wrote a lot on paper. (And Carol said she liked my handwriting!) I started my first serial. I wrote a poem that I absolutely hate (It was much better in my head, I swear) and one that I really really like.
Let's see how this stacks up:
I blogged 3 times.
I had 4 somethings.
I wrote on paper at least 12 times.
I missed 3 days
I wrote at least 4 poems, and mostly prose for the rest of it.
I only had one or two bichok moments, possibly because I was writing on paper.
I had two brainstorms for an essay that I haven't been able to write because I can't make it not whiny.
So there you have it. Between Somethings and misses, I only wrote 21 times, which barely squeeks in as a successful month. But I feel like it was a worthwhile month, and that I continue to achieve my goal.
Because it was mostly on paper this month, I can't do a Wordle like I did last month without extraordinary effort on my part.

I'm doing my best to refrain from posting commentary on the whole March-is-spring idea...
